The IR4.0 Learning Community is up
(although not yet populated with the Programmes!)

Framework for Learning Programmes
I have now created the Framework for the Stepping Stones Learning Programmes (see links below)
IR4.0 Consortium Stepping Stones Programmes (General Course Page)
https://ir40-industrial-maintenance-global-learning-community.thinkific.com/
Programme 1.0 "The Effective Maintenance Technician Intro" Stepping Stones Programme
https://ir40-industrial-maintenance-global-learning-community.thinkific.com/courses/the-effective-maintenance-technician-intro-stepping-stone-programme
Programme 2.0 "The Effective Maintenance Team leader" Stepping Stones Programmes
https://ir40-industrial-maintenance-global-learning-community.thinkific.com/courses/programme-2-0-the-effective-maintenance-team-leader-stepping-stones-programme
Programme 3.0 "The More Effective Maintenance Management" Stepping Stones Programmes
https://ir40-industrial-maintenance-global-learning-community.thinkific.com/courses/programme-3-0-the-more-effective-maintenance-management-stepping-stones-programme
Programme 4.0 "The More Effective Maintenance Strategy" Stepping Stones Programmes
https://ir40-industrial-maintenance-global-learning-community.thinkific.com/courses/programme-4-0-the-more-effective-maintenance-strategy-stepping-stones-programme
Framework Format
There are 4 Programmes in the Framework; each Programme has 5 Chapters.
Each Chapter has 10 Learning Lessons, of which the final Lesson in each Chapter is a Summary Lesson, wrapping up the information in that Chapter.
As we are providing an in-house Certification for the Programmes, there will also be an Exam at the end of each Programme.
I will be creating the Summary Lessons and Exams for each Programme (based on the Expert Content within each Chapter), however, Consortium Experts will create the Content for each Lesson.
The intended format for each Lesson is a 15-20 minute pre-recorded Mixed Media ("live" Experts like you, speaking to the topic plus incorporating any relevant slides etc that will add value to the Learners)
Next Steps
As you will see at the links, the Programme Framework is in place (still subject to amendment based on the Experts and the Community's input) but the Content now needs populating.
I have created the Programme and Chapter Headings and some of the Lesson Topics; however, there are quite a few Lessons yet to be named.
This is because I am asking the Experts to determine what are the most relevant topics for the particular Programme, Chapters and Lessons; you are far better placed to know what subjects are relevant and valuable to the Maintenance Learning Community.
NB: I am also asking you, as part of the Community to also nominate
topics of relevance to you (in return for Lifetime Access for only US$1.00);
you will see that the first "Lesson" in each Programme is
an article asking for your input.
Would you like to Participate?
I am now asking if, based on the Framework, you would like to participate ?
If so, I would further ask if you could nominate the topics (by Programme / Chapter and suggested Lesson Topics), so we can discuss the commercial arrangements between us.
I look forward to hearing from you re this
And see how you can earn Lifetime Access - for only US$1.00!
The IR4.0 Consortium has a vision of a world where
Maintenance Personnel are given the respect they deserve,
(no more being a "spanner") because we know that
Nothing works if Maintenance Doesn't!
But with the new technologies coming down the line that will make
up the broader IR4.0, it's hard for techs AND
maintenance managers alike to keep up.
The IR4.0 Consortium is now creating easy to understand, bite size
Video Learning Programmes to support Maintenance Personnel
come to grips with an IR4.0 world - and thrive!
Some of the tech areas we will cover include these
* IoT
* Predictive Maintenance
* Machine Learning
* AI
But not just the IR4.0 Tech related Learnings!
We've also got a full programme in development that
will take you from Tech to Director - places where
tech skills and knowledge will only get you so far.
Positions where the "people" are more important
than what you know (or what you don't know:)
